Our women’s team won its 5th consecutive national title yesterday after beating #3 Trinity 9-0 in the Howe Cup final.
The win completed a perfect season for the women as the team won all 13 matches 9-0 this year. This is reportedly the first time in college squash history that a team has not dropped a single match in a season.
It’s the women’s 7th national title in the past 8 years and the 20th Howe Cup win in program history. Yesterday’s win extends the team’s unbeaten streak to 65 consecutive matches, dating back to the 2014-15 season (Jan 12).
Thank you to everyone who travelled to Trinity this past weekend. We really appreciate the support!
The season continues for one more weekend as the top players are getting ready for the individual nationals this coming weekend. All matches will be played at Moses Brown School in Providence Friday-Sunday.
Draws, streaming info etc. will be posted on CSA’s website later this week.
