Our #1 seeded women’s team beat #2 ranked Princeton in yesterday’s Howe Cup final and recorded its sixth-straight national championship.
Harvard is the first college squash program to win 6 consecutive Howe Cups. This year’s title is the 20th in Crimson history. Yesterday’s win is the 83rd consecutive victory for our women’s team; a streak that started in 2015.

Due to their success in recent years, the women had a target on their backs in every match this season. The coaches are extremely proud of how the players handled the pressure throughout the year. A season always has its ups and downs but the team peaked at the right time and was able to stay the course against talented and tough opponents.
Kennedy Wins Betty Richey Award
Before yesterday’s final, the CSA awarded this year’s Betty Richey Award to senior co-captain, Gina Kennedy ’20.
The Richey Award is given annually to the women’s college squash player who best exemplifies the ideals of squash in her love of and devotion to the game, her strong sense of fairness, and her excellence of play and leadership.
The finalists included Kennedy’s teammate, Eleonore Evans ’20, and Yale’s Lucy Beecroft.
