Ali Farag ’14 won the Tournament of Champions last night in New York, coming back from being 0-2 down to beat current world #1, Mohamed ElShorbagy. Due to the win, Ali will take over as world #1 in March!
Our teams were gathered in Adams House to watch the final. Needless to say, they were quite proud of Ali when he won the final point.
When Harvard Alum @AliFarag wins the 2019 men’s @ToCSquash title and becomes the world’s No. 1, we go crazy.
Congrats, Ali! We are so proud! #GoCrimson #Family pic.twitter.com/j8gn66PnXC

Please join us in congratulating Ali on this extraordinary achievement.
We were glad to see many of our Friends in the stands throughout the ToC week. In addition to Ali, Amanda Sobhy ’15, Haley Mendez ’15 and Timmy Brownell ’20, all competed in the tournament.
