After a successful Ivy season, both of our teams were recognized by the Ivy League this past week.
Victor Crouin ’22 was named both Ivy Rookie and Player of the Year. Together with teammates Marwan Tarek ’22 and Timmy Brownell ’20, Crouin was also named first-team all-Ivy.
Crouin will join Ali Farag ’14, Amanda Sobhy ’15 and Haley Mendez ’15 in Chicago this weekend to compete in the 2019 PSA World Championships.
On the women’s side, Sabrina Sobhy ’19 was selected Ivy Player of the Year for the second time in her career. Along with Sobhy, Gina Kennedy ’20, Amelia Henley ’20 and Kayley Leonard ’19 were voted first-team all-Ivy.
Sobhy, who won the E.M. Noll Classic last week, earned a wildcard to compete in the World Championships as well but can’t play due to the CSA team nationals this weekend.
Head Coach Mike Way was named both the men’s and women’s Ivy League Coach of the Year.
