Men Win National Title!

Our men’s team finished the season by beating Trinity in the national final 9-0 yesterday, winning the team’s first national title since the 2013-14 season.

While the scoreline against Trinity was convincing, it took a lot of determination from our players to get through close individual matches. #9 Alexi Gosset ’19 found himself 2-0 down but fought back to win in five games. #2 Marwan Tarek ’22 was also in a five-game battle but prevailed at the end and clinched the title for the Crimson.

The men won all of their 16 matches this season and had already secured this year’s Ivy title before this past weekend. This is the men’s program’s 26th Potter Cup.

The Crimson has also written about yesterday’s win.

The college season continues for another two weeks. This coming weekend, our #1 ranked women’s team will compete for the women’s national title at Trinity.

Draws, live streaming info etc. will be available on CSA’s website later this week.
