Both Harvard teams proved that they are ready for the toughest week of the regular season by beating Cornell and Columbia this past weekend.
The men’s team won both of their matches 8-1 while the women beat Cornell 8-1 and Columbia 9-0. It was great to see many alumni and parents come to Sunday’s Columbia match which – as Head Coach Mike Way predicted – turned out to be the most exciting sporting event of the day…
The women played their full line-up for both matches and apart from a couple of individual matches, the players scored solid victories on both days. The men had a few close matches against both teams: Nigel Koh had to battle through five games and his brother, Bryan, as well as Dylan Murray both needed four games to get the job done against Cornell. Against Columbia, Brandon McLaughlin won in five games and Ali Farag beat Ramit Tandon in four close sets.

Next up: Trinity @ 6pm on Tuesday
The teams had an easy day today and they will travel to Trinity College tomorrow for one of the most anticipated matches of the season. As US Squash wrote last week: “All four teams are currently undefeated, and the winners of each match will have the inside track to the top seed in the CSA Team Championships.”
We hope to see you there but if you can’t make it to Hartford, you should be able to watch the match through Trinity’s streaming service:
