Women Win Ivy Title – Men Finish 2nd & Face Trinity Tonight

Our women’s team secured its third consecutive Ivy League title this past weekend by beating both Yale and Brown 9-0! The win against Brown marked the 50th consecutive win for our women. It also means that the women’s team is seeded #1 for this weekend’s team nationals at Harvard.

The Howe Cup draw has been published today. Harvard’s first round match against #8 Cornell starts at 4pm on Friday on courts 1, 2 and 3 at the Murr Center. Streaming will be available on http://www.ivyleaguenetwork.com/harvard.

Our men’s team wrapped up Ivy play by also beating both Yale and Brown 9-0. The men finished second in the Ivy League while Columbia remained unbeaten this year and won the program’s first Ivy title.

Harvard men will face #1 Trinity today in their last regular season match. Trinity is currently the only undefeated team this year on the men’s side. Columbia is ranked #2 and Harvard #3 so seedings for nationals are still up in the air.

The Trinity match starts at 4pm and will be streamed on https://www.nsnsports.net/colleges/trinity/.
