David Ryan ’18 finished his collegiate career today as the individual national champion after beating Trinity’s Kush Kumar in the men’s A division final. Ryan (the #14 seed) saved two match balls before clinching the match 12-10 in the fifth game.

Harvard had an amazing first day at the individual nationals in Washington D.C. yesterday with three men and three women advancing to today’s semifinals of the main draws.

Our men’s team put up a great fight against Trinity in the national final yesterday but lost the match 6-3 in the end. Trinity’s players were as strong as expected on their home courts and never let go of their early lead in the match. Five of the nine matches were five-setters.

The Harvard women beat Trinity in the final of the Howe Cup yesterday without dropping a match and became national champions for the fourth year in a row! The team handled the pressure of being the #1 seed well and didn’t let a very talented Trinity team take control of the match at any point.

The No. 1 Harvard women’s squash team advanced to the CSA final after a 9-0 defeat of No. 5 Yale today at the Murr Center Squash Courts.

Our #3 men’s team put up a fight against #1 Trinity last night but lost against the Bantams 7-2. The team got off to a good start by taking the lead in all three matches of the first wave. However, Trinity was able to turn the matches around and won all three of them 3-2.

Our women’s team secured its third consecutive Ivy League title this past weekend by beating both Yale and Brown 9-0! The win against Brown marked the 50th consecutive win for our women. It also means that the women’s team is seeded #1 for this weekend’s team nationals at Harvard.
